HTF 2 filaments of meta-aramid fibres have the highest degree of heat resistance among organic fibres for brush production.

HTF 2 offers in addition to conventional fibre characteristics such as elongation, elasticity, strength, specific gravity, texture and colour etc. an outstanding and long-term heat resistance (wet and dry).

Unlike conventional heat resistant materials, however, HTF 2 also offers excellent processibility.


 

 

 

Special features:

High carbonisation point (approx. 400 - 430 °C).

High glass transition point (approx. 270 °C).

Enduring fibre performance, even after long-term heat exposure (at 250 °C approx. 60 % of that at room temperature).

Outstanding dimensional stability (< 1 % shrinkage from room temperature to 250 °C).
